Pune
Municipal Corporation ESCO PROJECT:
MAHAPREIT is working with Pune Municipal
Corporation on energy-saving and /or cost-saving measures on an ESCO/ BOT
basis. Pune Municipal Corporation is a local Self-Government governing Pune
city which is spread across approximately 340 Sq. kilometres of land. In its
Governance, Pune Municipal Corporation looks after facilities such as water
treatment, water supply and its pumping station, sewerage treatment and its
pumping station, road infrastructure, hospitals, schools, gardens, auditoriums,
office buildings, etc. All these facilities need electricity.
The objective of the project is 'to save energy and
cost of electricity borne by Pune Municipal Corporation towards its facilities
by means of use of energy saving devices, nonconventional energy resources,
audit of bills or any other means that shall not affect facilities or their
output adversely in any way.

Pune
Municipal Corporation 50 MW solar project:
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), with the
support of MAHAPREIT, is planning to implement a 50 MW solar project to reduce
electricity costs and promote renewable energy. As part of this initiative, a
joint Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) between MAHAPREIT and PMC is proposed to be
established. This SPV will be responsible for constructing the 50 MW solar
project to meet the energy requirements of PMC through open access.
This project has several benefits such as reduction
of electricity costs for the PMC. Reduction greenhouse gas emissions and air
pollution. Improved energy sufficiency, cost savings for consumers, and
environmental sustainability for the city.
3.
Pune
Municipal Corporation Command and Control Centre:
Setup the command and control
center and its integration with the existing smart city operation center. The
aim is to bring all the feeds to a central location and provide a decision
support system
The Integrated Command and Control Centre are
envisaged to be the brain for city operations, exception handling, and disaster
management. The sensors and edge devices will capture and generate real-time
data from various utilities such as water, waste management, energy, mobility,
the built environment, education, healthcare, and safety. ICCC as a platform,
through its different layers and components will act as a decision support
system (DSS) for the city administration to respond to real-time events by consuming
data feeds from different data sources and by processing information out of the
data sets.To make an informed decision, to provide guidelines to the Smart City
Operation center, and to provide a better Civic Experience to Citizens, an
advance decision support system with debriefing and analysis is a need of the
hour.
The Entire feed from the Existing Smart city will
be utilized and add-on features like 3D twining, Drones, and Smart poles and
Latest ICCC will provide cutting-edge technology to Hon. Commissioner to make
informed Decisions.

Mukhyamantri
Innovative Laghu-Udyog Saur Yojana (MILSY): (SOLARISATION of MSMEs)
MAHAPREIT has introduced a transformative
initiative called “Mukhyamantri Innovative Laghu-Udyog Saur Yojana (MILSY)”
also known as "Solarization of MSMEs" which is designed to streamline
and implement Rooftop Solar Systems (RTS) within the MSME sector in
Maharashtra. Our collective aim is to install a total of 400 MW of rooftop
solar systems on MSMEs across the state of Maharashtra through a PPP model
known as Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. These installations
will be meticulously categorized based on their capacity, ranging from 20 kW to
100 kW, 101 kW to 250 kW, 251 kW to 1000 kW and above 1000 kW.
Under this program the rooftop solar system will be
installed by MAHAPREIT’s empanelled reputed solar installers through their own
investment, which means the MSMEs will have to make zero investment in the
system installation. The MSMEs will only have to pay the electricity bills. The
repayment through energy bills from MSMEs can directly save 30-40% on monthly
electricity bills for next 20 years. This scheme aims to install solar systems
on the rooftops of about 10,000 MSMEs.

Project
details for 30MW Distributed Rooftop Solar projects for Goa Govt. own buildings:
MAHAPREIT is engaging with different Governments,
Semi-Government, and private organizations for promotion and deployment of
renewable energy projects. MAHAPREIT is looking for various business
opportunities and MAHAPREIT is undertaking business with different Government
Organizations. Also, working on poverty reduction, social inclusion,
environmental sustainability, and economic growth.
In line with this, MAHAPREIT proposes the 30 MW
Distributed Rooftop Solar projects for Govt. own buildings in the state of Goa.
This program aims to enable the adoption of rooftop solar systems in over the
identified buildings of Goa Government through the RESCO (Renewable Energy
Service Company) model.
MAHAPREIT & GEDA to collaborate and jointly
explore the possibilities in the field Renewable Energy, towards large-scale
deployment during the coming year for implementation of 30MW distributed
rooftop solar project through the RESCO mode on identified government buildings
at levelized tariff rate of Rs. 4.75 per kWh for 25 years.

Project
details for Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad:
MAHAPREIT and MNLUA jointly working for
implementation of various renewable energy projects at MNLUA Chh. Sambhajinagar
campus. MAHAPREIT is focused on implementing a range of innovative and
sustainable energy solutions, including the installation of rooftop and
ground-mounted solar energy projects, to promote renewable energy adoption.
They are also exploring the integration of heat pump-supported solar hot water
and central air-conditioning systems to enhance energy efficiency. To support
the transition to cleaner transportation, MAHAPREIT is promoting the use of
battery-operated vehicles and setting up EV charging stations at university
campuses. Additionally, they are working on installing solar-powered fencing
compounds for enhanced security across large campuses, as well as providing
standby off-grid systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
7.
Project
details for National Cancer Institute Nagpur:
MAHAPREIT’s proposal
initiative for "Energy Saving and Green Energy Open Access" aims to
achieve significant advancements in sustainable energy practices. The first
objective is to reduce energy consumption by implementing strategies that
promote energy-saving practices at National Cancer Institute Nagpur. MAHAPREIT
plans to establish about 4MW in phase –I, an open-access platform that enables
